KATHMANDU: Ray Global Trading, sole distributor of Fashion TV products for Nepal, has launched F Vodka in Nepal. According to a press statement issued by the company, the vodka is available in two different varieties: premium collection and luxury collection. The vodkas are available at leading department stores, retail outlets, restaurants and bars in Nepal, said the statement. The vodka is produced in Poland and extensively designed and developed by Michel Adams, president of Fashion TV. NPMA and Esskay to organize seminar Tuesday
KATHMANDU: Nepal Plastic Manufacturers´ Association (NPMA) and Esskay are organizing seminar on “Showcase of Plastic and Growth of its Industries” in the capital on Tuesday. According to a press statement issued by the association, the seminar will include discussions on plastic and its global scenario, its presence in Nepal and showcase different sectors of plastic industries in Nepal.
Barshaman Pun, the finance minister will be the chief guest and Anil K. Jha, industry minister will be the guest of honor at the seminar. Minister Pun and Minister Jha will jointly inaugurate the seminar, said the statement. Jim Becker, managing director of Chevron Philips, Singapore and other distinguished personalities representing major plastic industries and associations in Nepal and abroad will address the seminar, added the statement.
Run Shoes launches footwear
KATHMANDU: Run Shoes Industries, a new footwear manufacturing company, has officially launched the first batch of its products in the market. In a press statement issued Monday, the company said it has introduced a range of footwears with the slogan "Byaktito Pahichanko Lagi Run Shoes".
The shoes are manufactured using high-quality raw materials, the company said in the statement, adding that it was presently engaged in producing around 150 models of shoes in different categories such as formal, casual and school shoes. The shoes are available for Rs 850 to Rs 3,500. The company also provides six-month warranty on its products.
FCMN condemns attack on Comen
KATHMANDU: Forum for Commodities Markets Nepal (FCMN), an umbrella organization of commodities exchanges, has condemned Sunday´s violent attack on the office of Commodities and Metal Exchange Nepal (Comen).
"The act of vandalism, which was carried out by a group that receives protection of a political party, is an attempt to destabilize economic activities in the country," FCMN said in a statement. [break]"We also regret that the government could not provide security to the company." FCMN has also urged the government to bring the culprits to book and guarantee security of assets and people involved in various businesses.
StanChart organizes blood camp
KATHMANDU: Standard Chartered Bank Nepal organized a blood donation camp at its head office in New Baneshwar on Saturday. The camp was organized with technical assistance from Nepal Red Cross Society, Blood Transfusion Centre, according to a statement issued by the bank. "Around 70 individuals donated blood on the occasion," said the statement.
