MAHOTTARI, Oct 3: A bus accident in Khayarmara, Bardibas Municipality-11 of Mahottari, claimed two lives and left more than 40 others injured.
The passenger bus (Na 6 Kha 1464), en route to Kathmandu from Mahottari, met with an accident this morning near Laxmi Narayan Secondary School in Khayarmara.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bikash Bam of the Bardibas Area Police Office, 80-year-old Chulhai Chaudhary of Bardibas Municipality-10 died on the spot, while 10-year-old Prabesh Khadka of Ishworpur-12, Sarlahi, died during treatment.
More than 40 others were injured in the accident, and all are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in Bardibas, police said.
