Bomb goes off in microbus;9 injured

BUTWAL, Oct 27
: At least nine passengers were injured when a bomb planted in a microbus (Lu 1 Kha 6694) went off at Shankarnagar along Butwal-Bhairahawa road section at around 4.45 p.m. on Wednesday.



Critically injured Kundan Shrestha, 54, of Hetauda-4, Shiva Sharma, 27, of Rupandehi, Deu Maya Bhujel, 20, of Rupandehi and Sunita Poudel of Butwal have been rushed to the capital for the further treatment, police said.[break]



Tarai Madhes Mukti Morcha in-charge Bhagat Singh called up local reporters and owned the responsibility of the blast.



The rear part of the vehicle has been damaged by the blast.



The vehicle was heading to Bhairahawa from Butwal.
