A heart of Parsa district, Birgunj city is hosting a film festival at Aadarsha Nagar Rangashala from September 18 for three days.

Organized by Nepal Film Producers Association in support from Film Development Board and Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce & Industries, the film festival will have participants from Nepal and India.
According to Aakash Adhikari, the chairman of Nepal Film Producers Association, this festival will help to minimize the long distance between Nepali cinema and the audience from Terai. He also added that the film festival will help the development of the film sector and tourism scene of Nepal.
