According to UML leader Surendra Pandey, NC Vice-president Ram Chandra Paudel presented his party´s 6-state proposal on state state restructuring during the meeting.
Reacting to the proposal, UDMF leader Hridayesh Tripathi expressed objection, ruling out any progress in talks unless parties give up on their earlier positions, and asked for showing flexibility to move negotiations ahead on the issues, Pandey said.
In the context of government formation, outgoing Deputy Prime Minister and UDMF leader Bijaya Kumar Gachchhadar, while leaving the meeting venue, said the UDMF will send one minister each from the five constituent parties to the government.
