KATHMANDU, June 12: Bernhardt MTI School of Tahachal, Kathmandu honored former taekwondo player as well as Asian championship gold medalist Bidhan Lama with letter of appreciation for his contribution in taekwondo.
Lama had claimed bronze medal in the 24th Olympic Games exhibition match in South Korea in 1988 in addition to silver medal in the Eighth Asian Taekwondo Championship of 1988.

He also bagged bronze in the eighth World Taekwondo Championship held in Spain in 1986 and 10th Asian Games held in South Korea in the same year.
Founding director of Berthardt Ramesh Paneru handed over the letter of appreciation.
