Maj Gen Gajendra Bahadur Limbu finished runner up with 19 points and Tashi Ghale claimed best gross award. Limbu received a gift hamper for two-night stay at Holiday Inn, Pattaya and Ghale received a gift hamper for two-night stay at Soaltee Crowne Plaza.
Sumitra Dayananda won the ladies section trophy with 16 points coming ahead of Kesang Lama. Dayanand received an open destination return tickets from Qatar Airways and two-night stay at Intercontinental Doha for a couple. Lama received gift hamper for two-night stay at Holiday Inn, Hinjewadi, Pune.
Other winners of the tournament included Ang Tsering Sherpa (guest winner), Yang Haulan (diplomat winner), Bijay Bahadur Shrestha (best among 5-star hotels), Pradeep K Shrestha (guest runner-up), Pradeep B Rana (most birdies), Shree Jay Acharya (longest drive), Liam Buddha Singh (closest to the pin), Thet-Oo (best sportsperson), Pushpa Rai and Lt Gen Toran JB Rana (surprise winners).
A total of 93 golfers from three clubs of Kathmandu including RNGC, Gokarna Golf Club and Tribhuvan Army Officers Golf Club took part in the one-day tournament. RNGC President Prachanda Bahadur Shrestha, Country Manager of Qatar Airways Ramdas Shivram, Chairman of Shikhar Insurance Bikash SJB Rana, Director of Soaltee Hotel Limited Bijay Bahaudr Shrestha and General Manager of Soaltee Crowne Plaza Vini K Gupta among others gave away the prizes to the winners.
