Bank of Kathmandu opens new branch offices

KATHMANDU, March 10: Bank Of Kathmandu Limited has opened new branch office at Bijuwar of Pyuthan and Bhalubang of Dang. Issuing a statement, the bank said that the new branch offices aims to provide banking facilities to larger Nepali masses. Santa Bar Sing Thapa, board director of the bank, inaugurated the Bijuwar branch office, while another board director Bala Ram Neupane inaugurated the Bhalubang branch office.

“The bank is actively working toward introducing new services for newly opened branches mainly the convenient farming loan -- Sajilo Khetipaati Karja -- to farmers of that area,” reads the statement. The initiative is part of the bank's partnership with Sakchyam- Access to Finance program, according to the statement.
