Bagmati Provincial Assembly meeting today

Opposition parties had been protesting the budget in the provincial assembly. Due to this, a meeting scheduled for Tuesday was postponed to 1:00 pm on Wednesday. However, when the CPN (Maoist Centre) continued their protests on Wednesday, the government decided to adjourn the session.
Meanwhile, in a press conference held in Hetauda on Wednesday, opposition parties criticized the Bagmati government for its failure. They argued that abruptly ending the session was a sign of the government's incompetence and accused it of bypassing the parliament and acting irresponsibly. The press conference was attended by MPs from the Maoist Centre, Rastriya Prajatantra Party, and CPN (Unified Socialist).
