KAPILVASTU, June 18: At least 10 people sustained injuries as a bomb exploded at Gajeda Chowk of the Badganga Municipality of Kapilvastu district.

The bomb exploded at around 1:30 pm, when the cadres of Nepali Congress and CPN (Maoist Center), who have formed an election alliance in the municipality, were heading to file their candidacies.
According to DSP Bhoj Jung Shah, the explosion damaged the surroundings and a bus and injured at least 10 people present at the site. According to Shah, the injured are taken to the Community Hospital at the Badganga. "Among the people, who sustained injuries, two are seriously injured. We have started the investigation," said Shah.
