KATHMANDU, May 28 : Indonesia set a target of 114 runs against Nepal in the Women’s Asian Games cricket qualifiers.
Batting first after winning the toss at the Bayuemas Oval in Kuala Lumpur, Indonesia posted 113 for 4 in their allotted overs.
After losing an opener in the very first over, Indonesia recovered through the middle order to reach a competitive total. Captain Ni Putu Ayu Nandari led the innings with an unbeaten 56, while Nilu Devi contributed 23 runs. The duo added a crucial 65-run partnership for the third wicket to stabilize the innings.

For Nepal, Manisha Upadhyay took two wickets, while Riya Sharma claimed one.
Nepal currently tops Group B with 2 points. A win in this match will secure their place in the semifinals as group winners. A Nepal victory will also confirm China as the group runners-up. However, if Indonesia win, all three teams will remain tied on points, and semifinal qualification will be decided on net run rate.
