APF, New Diamond take joint lead

KATHMANDU, Dec 7: Armed Police Force (APF) and New Diamond Academy won four matches each to take a joint lead with 12 points during the Dhorpatan Blue Sky Cup National Women's Double League Volleyball Tournament being held at New Bus Park, Kathmandu.

APF, which had won three matches in the last two days, recorded a 25-10, 25-18, 25-15 win over Tribhuvan Army Club on Monday to maintain its cent percent winning streak. Army, however, defeated Bijeshwari School 25-5, 25-2, 25-4 in the second match of the day.Meanwhile, New Diamond won two matches on Monday, defeating Bindhyabasini School 25-10, 25-12, 25-6 in first match and Angel's Heart 25-11, 25-6, 25-5 in the second match.

Meanwhile, Western Region recorded 25-11, 25-6, 25-18 win over Everest School and Nepal Police Club thrashed Janaki School by 25-7, 25-6, 25-2 in other matches of the day.
