NEW DELHI, June 5: After the super success of 'Mary Kom, director Omung Kumar is all set to showcase the struggle of another real life braveheart. Omung's upcoming film is a biopic on Sarabjit Singh, the Indian prisoner who died after a brutal attack in a Pakistani jail in 2013.According to reports, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been roped in to play the role of Sarabjit's sister, Dalbir Kaur, who treated him like her son than her brother. Dalbir's determination to release her brother from Pakistan was no less than a struggle.

In 23 years, when Sarabjit was in jail, Dalbir met him only thrice and her only goal in life was to get justice for Sarabjit.

However, there has not been any official confirmation over Aishwarya being part of Omung's upcoming biopic. The former Miss World is currently busy working on her comeback film 'Jazbaa', the first look of which was unveiled at Cannes Film Festival, which concluded last month.
