Ailing journalist seeks help

KATHMANDU, Dec 21: Pyuthan-based journalist Bindu Pariyar, who is in bed for the last four months without any treatment, has urged media persons to extend necessary support for her treatment.



A journalist of Mandabi FM, Pariyar, 25, has been suffering from blood cancer for the last five years. Her family has been unable to treat her due to poverty.



According to doctors, the Dalit journalist needs Rs 250,000 per month.
