Aftershock jolts Kathmandu yet again

KATHMANDU, Feb 22: An aftershock measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale hit the central and western Nepal on late Sunday night.

According to the National Seismological Center (NSC), Lainchaur, the earthquake was felt at 11:54 pm with epicenter in Gorkha district.A 4.1-magnitude aftershock was felt with Nuwakot epicenter at 3:54 am yesterday.

As many as 433 jolts with magnitude 4 or above have been recorded following the Gorkha earthquake that devastated Nepal on April 25.
