‘I can’t get no satisfaction’ by Rolling Stones, ‘No woman no cry’ by Bob Marley, ‘Make me believe again’ by Count Basic, ‘Living after midnight’ by Judas Priest and ‘Rock You Like A Hurricane’ by Scorpions were some of the most rocking covers by Abhaya and The Steam Injuns.[break]
Abhaya, full of energy as always, gave a stunning performance.
“I love rock and rock is my genre,” said Abhaya Subba. “Rock really expresses who I’m, what the band is.”
Everyone sang along with Abhaya and waved hands along with the music when the band they played the number ‘Hami Sabai Nepali’.
“‘Hami sabai Nepali’ is also a tribute to rock,” said Abhaya adding, “Singing this song gets everyone excited.”
“The concert was fun. The musicians were very talented and we had a good company,” said Toby Munnion, 18, an audience at the concert.
“Everybody was very excited to hear some Rock ‘n Roll classics and my personal favorite was Rock ‘n Roll by Led Zepplin,” Toby added.
“The response from the audience was amazing, guitar was awesome and the whole atmosphere was electrifying,” said Abhaya after the concert.
