KATHMANDU, Jan 20: At least 59 leaders and activists with different roles within the CPN-UML have collectively resigned. They have expressed support for the Matribhumi Jagaran Abhiyaan led by former vice-chairman Bhim Rawal, who was expelled from the party.
They have criticized Rawal’s expulsion on the instructions of UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli “as it was arbitrary and autocratic”. Meanwhile, Rawal’s supporters have also called for participation in the campaign.
