2 houses gutted in early morning fire

Hetauda, Nov. 12: Two houses belonging to Bhim Bahadur Waiba Lama in Hetauda municipality-23 was gutted in a fire that broke out early this morning.

The incident took place at around 2:30 am, according to district police office. Property worth Rs. one million was destroyed in the fire including food stock, clothes and utensils.


A fire tender from Hetauda downtown and locals worked together for around an hour to bring the fire under control.

Meanwhile, considering the fuel crisis, Nepal Police has been operating two trucks to ferry people since 8:00 this morning. The free service is provided for the locals of Ratamate, Nawalpuri, Chaughada, Bhaise and Basamadi.

The service will continue until Saturday evening, police said.RSS
