KATHMANDU, Oct 4: India has defeated Nepal in the women's volleyball tournament under the 19th Asian Games (Asiad) underway in Hangzhou, China. The Nepali women's team lost the match to India 1-3.
Nepal faced a 23-25 defeat to India in the first set. It won the second set 26-28. However, it faced drubbing in the subsequent two sets. Nepal scored 25-23 in the third set and India got an easy victory of 25-17 in the fourth set. Nepal were defeated by Vietnam and South Korea in the group stage matches before this.
