19 citizens found disappeared

PARASI, Sept 4: As many as 19 citizens have been disappeared in Nawalparasi during the armed conflict, a statistic reveals.



Of the data, the state side enforced 13 cases of disappearance and the rebel side and unidentified group three each, informed Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC), Nawalparasi. [break]



However, the victim families of all 19 disappeared have not yet received compensation, informed INSEC district coordinator Hum Raj Kunwar.



Among those enforced disappeared from the state side are Janaki Ranabhat, Tika Ranabhat, Krishna Kumar Shrestha of Pragatinagar-3, Toyanath Neupane of Pragatinagar-2, Dharma Raj Parajuli of Ruchang-9, Raj Kumar BK of Deurali-4, Ganga KC and Jit Bahadur BK of Dumkibas-5 and Rajuram Poudel of Makar-1.



Likewise, other persons made disappeared by the state are Ashutosh Kunwar of Ramgram-5, Parichhed Regmi of Mukundapur-6, Ram Lal Bhattarai of Shivamandir and Baijanath Chaudhary of Bajariya.



Similarly, the rebel side enforced disappearance of Santosh Kumar Pandey of Rampurawa-3, Junu Soti of Dhurkot-8 and Rup Narayan Tharu of Kolhuwa.



Other made disappeared by unknown groups are Hiralal Kandel of Gaindakot, Nawaratna Singh of Triveni Susta-7 and Prakash Gautam of Sunawal-7, according to INSEC.
