On Tuesday, Ram Babu Yadav of Bara booked his ticket for the SAG beating Pramalal Yadav, also from Bara, in 61 kg final played at Satdobato, Lalitpur.Saroj Yadav of Parsa saw himself qualifying for the SAG for 65 kg event as he beat Gyan Kumar Yadav of Siraha in the final.
Similarly, Baijnath Prasad Yadav of Tribhuvan Army Club was selected for 70 kg event. Baijnath beat Narayan Thapa of Gorkha in the final, while Bheshraj Pandit of Army Club qualified for the SAG defeating Sandesh Pandit of Bara in 74 kg event.
Bunni Raut Ahir of Bara, a silver medalist in the 10th SAG, also booked his ticket to India beating Ramesh Gotame of Banke in a controversial final of 86 kg event.
While, Sumir Shah of Parsa beat Jitendra Prasad Yadav of Siraha in 97 kg final to be the eighth men player to qualify for the SAG.
Satyendra Prasad Yadav of Army got selected for 125 kg on Monday as there was no other opponent of the weight category.
Eight women players--Sumitra Rai (48 kg) of Ilam, Ishwari Thapa (53 kg) of Kanchanpur, Sarmila (53 kg) of Dhankuta, Laxmi Khatri (58 kg) of Kanchanpur, Kabita Pun (60 kg) of Rukum, Saptari's Shanti Chaudhary (63 kg) and Lila Singh (69 kg) and Bhanu Thapaliya (75 kg) of Morang--were selected on Monday, the opening day of the selection event.
Meanwhile, Ramesh Gotame of Banke blamed officials of the selection game being biased during his match against Bunni Raut Ahir of Bara in men's 86kg final.
Ramesh claimed that the match was tied till the last bout, but the officials declared Bunni as the winner.
Ramesh expressed his anger as soon as referee raised Bunni's hand declaring him as the winner.
Ramesh also blamed that the officials were biased against him during a tournament in Birgunj in the past.
