DHANGADI, Feb 9: A teenager has been raped in Dhangadhi district. Police said that a 14-year-old girl, who had come to Dhangadhi from Bajura for study, was raped Thursday evening.
According to the police, a young man stopped her on the road while she was returning home from school and threatened to kill her if she did not go with him. The 18-year-old young man of Dhangadhi raped her at his home and fled.

The victim reported the incident to the police only on Saturday. According to the Dhangadhi District Police Office, the complaint was received only on Saturday evening. Police added that a search operation is currently underway to locate the suspect behind the crime.
