KASKI, June 5: Fourteen socket bombs have been found in unattended state at Bagadi, Lekhnath Municipality of Kaski district on Friday.

The rusted socket bombs were found inside a sack in course of extracting sand at the place. Workers of the Siddhi Binayak Crusher Industry saw the sack containing the socket bombs while loading sand into the tipper from the excavator, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Kedar Rajaure of the District Police Office, Kaski.

Rajaure suspects the bombs might have been buried during the conflict period. The Nepalese Army's bomb disposal squad defused the bombs, he said. RSS
