122 ex-combatants receive cheque on first day

CHITWAN (Ratnanagar), Sept. 14: Some 122 ex-combatants received cheque on Friday that marks the beginning of handing over cheque to the PLA ex-fighters choosing voluntary retirement.



They received cheque from 12,00 noon to the evening on Friday. The cheque handover started only from 12.00 noon due to delay in the cheque arrival.



Coordinator at the Army Integration Special Committee Secretariat, Balananda Sharma, who was also stationed at the camp, handed over a cheque to mark the beginning of the task.



At least 352 ex-fighters at Shaktikhor cantonment had chosen voluntary retirement by disserting army integration.



Some 271 out of total 624 ex-combatants have taken part in the recruitment selection process.



Likewise, 1,647among 3,123 ex-fighters across the country had chosen integration.
