KATHMANDU, Feb 6: A gas cylinder exploded in a momo shop located in Kamal Pokhari, Kathmandu this morning.
Senior Superintendent of Police Shekhar Khanal said that the explosion took place at 8:42 AM today at the Sandar Momo shop. According to him, 11 male workers working in the same shop were injured. The injured individuals were initially taken to Himal Hospital and have now been transferred to the Kirtipur Hospital for further treatment.

According to SSP Khanal, the condition of one of the 11 people injured in the explosion is critical and the building has also been damaged.
In the morning, after a loud explosion, security vehicles and an ambulance went towards the site.
