Sarada Bhattarai, 45, of Bhantabari, Triyuga-13 was killed in the mudslide at around 9:00 am, the District Police Office said.
Her body has been sent to Udayapur District Hospital, Gaighat for post-mortem.
Two other locals--Durga Baniya, 28, and Binita Danuwar, 18--were injured in the incident and are undergoing treatment at the district hospital.
