KATHMANDU, March 6: The westerly low-pressure system is partially influencing Nepal, creating partly cloudy conditions in hilly regions, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM). However, most parts of the country have clear weather, with light fog appearing in some areas of the Terai.
The DHM forecasts partly cloudy skies in hilly regions during the day, while other areas remain clear.
Tonight, partial cloud cover will persist in hilly areas, while the rest of the country will have clear skies. A few places in the high hills and mountainous regions of the Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces may receive light snowfall.
In the next 24 hours, light snowfall may occur in one or two places in the high hills and mountainous regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces. Additionally, some areas of the Terai may experience light fog on Friday morning, potentially affecting daily life, health, road transport, and aviation. The DHM has urged all concerned authorities to remain cautious.
