Vehicular movement along Prithvi Highway resumes

CHITWAN, Sept 7: The vehicular movement along Prithvi Highway, which was blocked due to landslides, has now resumed. 

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bhesraj Rijal from the District Police Office, Chitwan, a dry landslide occurred near Phisling, which lies in the Ward Number 3 of Ichhakamana Rural Municipality, at around 7:30 AM today. This had caused a two-way blockage of vehicular movement along the highway.

After the landslide debris was cleared in coordination with the Department of Roads, DSP Rijal said that traffic has been operating in both directions since 8:45 AM.
