KATHMANDU, May 12: The CPN-UML has appointed House of Representatives member Padma Aryal as deputy leader of its parliamentary party (PP).

UML PP leader Ram Bahadur Thapa “Badal” appointed Aryal to the post, according to party Secretary Mahesh Basnet. Aryal is also a party secretary.
Earlier, Ain Bahadur Mahar had been appointed chief whip of the PP, while Nita Gahatani was appointed whip.
