The meet is being organized as part of UCPN (Maoist)’s campaign to conduct programs at the district level in the wake of the party’s exit from government. According to the party’s Baglung publicity department chief Bishnu KC, cadres from its Magarat State Council will be trained on Wednesday at the city’s Kaligandaki Cinema Hall.
There are altogether 17 districts, including Baglung, Parbat, Myagdi, Pyuthan, Rukum, Rolpa and Salyan, under the Magarat State Council. Security has been stepped up in Baglung bazar ahead of the Maoist leaders’ visit.
