The deceased have been identified as Manisha Mahato, 13, and Asha Baitha, 12, of Chandrapur Municipality-4, according to the Area Police Office, Chandranigahapur.
The incident reportedly took place as they were swimming in the pond. The bodies were handed over their relatives after postmortem. RSS
