RAUTAHAT, May 8: Two minor girls have drowned in a local rivulet in Rajpur municipality. The deceased have been identified as seven year-old Anija Khatun, and Sunaiya Khatun, 6, of Kudiya Tole.
Anija and Sunaiya had gone to take bath in the nearby river on Monday afternoon. Family members went out in search of their daughters when they did not return home.

When the family member and their kin went to the river they found the bodies of the two girls floating in the river.
Bodies were taken to district hospital Gaur for postmortem on Tuesday, said Police Inspector Manoj Yadav of District Police Office, Rautahat.
