Two girls die in Hetauda

HETAUDA, Sept 6: Two girls died when the Bakaiya rivulet swept them away in Jhapa district on Monday evening.



The deceased have been identified as Sita Baiba, 8, and Chanamati Bale Lama, 6, of Chhatiwan VDC-4, according to the District Police Office, Makawanpur.



Police said the incident took place when the swollen rivulet swept them away while playing on the banks of the rivulet.
