In the five overs match, Civil defeated Commerz and Trust Bank by two wickets in the first match of the tournament. [break]Batting first, Commerz and Trust scored 41 runs in five overs. Civil successfully chased the target in 2.5 overs losing three wickets.
In its second match, Civil registered seven runs victory over NMB Bank. Batting first, Civil scored 102 runs losing three wickets. NMB managed to score 95 runs in five overs losing three wickets.
Kumari defeated NB Bank by four wickets in its first match and in another match Kumari registered three wickets victory over Commerz and Trust Bank. Sunrise thrashed Grand Bank by 74 runs in first match and defeated Jyoti Bikash Bank by 11 runs in second match. In the last match of the day, Sunrise lost to NIBL Bank by 21 runs.
NBM Bank, Commerz and Trust Bank, Jyoti Bikash Bank, Grand Bank and NIBL Bank achieved a victory each in the first day of the tournament. NB Bank and Himalayan Bank are looking for their first win.
Altogether 10 banks are participating in the two-day tournament. Participating teams are divided into two groups with five teams in each group.
