A group of around 20 robbers looted 10 mobile phone sets and Rs 20,000 from two trucks and an ambulance, according to Chitwan District Police Office.
Police personnel mobilised immediately after the lootings held 11 persons from Dasdhunga of Kabilas VDC-2 on the charge of their involvement in the lootings.
1 dead, 2 hurt in accident
KAKADVITTA, Sept. 11: A woman died and her son and daughter were injured in a road accident on Kakadvitta-Bahundagi road Friday evening.
The accident occurred when a bus (Me 1 Kha 1325) and a motorcycle (WB 74 Q 0306) collided with each other. The deceased is identified as Ramala Basnet (33) of Bahundangi-3.
Her son Mausham Basnet and daughter Barsha Basnet were hurt in the accident. Bike rider Hem Kumar Raut was seriously injured in the mishap. The injured are undergoing treatment at AMDA Hospital, Dhulabari.
Following the accident, police seized the bus. However, its driver is on the run.
