Three from single family killed, one injured in Dailekh landslide

DAILEKH, Aug 16: Three members of a single family have been killed and another one injured in a landslide here at Ganesh Chwok, Narayan Municipality-6 of the district at around 1 am today.

The deceased have been identified as Rupa Badi, 20, and her two minor children. Badi's husband Dipak Bahadur was seriously injured in the incident.The landslide buried their house following a incessant rainfall since Saturday in the area.

A police team led by police inspector Puskar Bahadur Chand rescued the injured Dipak soon after the incident. Dipak is currently undergoing treatment at District Hospital.
