KATHMANDU, Jan 4: Theater enthusiasts and people who want to try their hands at acting should make time for 'The International Theater Lab' organized by Lok Drishti Theater. This is an annual workshop designed to inform participants about the different aspects of theater.

Beginning from Saturday, the workshop is being held at Sarwanam Theater in Kalikasthan."We've organized this workshop keeping in mind the growing interest in theater and acting. We felt there was a need for such trainings to teach interested young people. Participants will learn a number of things during the workshop, such as writing for theater, directing, acting, lighting design, set and sound production. This workshop was delayed due to the blockade," stated Prem Poudel from Lok Drishti Theater.

He added, "International participants will also be welcome to the workshop from the next year."

Twenty-five participants have joined this third edition of the workshop. 'The International Theater Lab' is a 15-day workshop where the participants will be trained by veteran theater personalities like Sunil Pokharel, Ashesh Malla, Subarna Thapa, and Krishna Shah 'Yatri'.
