The hospital, where more than 100 patients would visit daily, is deserted as all the patients have been travelling to Kailali and Kanchanpur hospital for medical checkups.
Moreover, many expensive medical instruments of the hospital has started to fall in the hands of thieves after the closure. Only on Monday, police had seized a van stolen from the hospital. Police said the van was loaded with medicines and a hospital staffer was driving it.
"The van had medicines belonging to the hospital and one of the drivers was a staff of the hospital," said Kailali Superintendent of the Police (SP) Dhanshaya Aryal.
According to the hospital staffs, most of the medicines, new beds, and many medical instrument have already been stolen from the hospital. “
