NEPALGUNJ, Dec 10: Seema Surakshya Bal (SSB), the Indian border security force, that has been frequently interrupting cargo vehicles from entering Nepal, has allowed large numbers of vehicles to enter Nepal through the Rupaidiha border point on Thursday.

According to Area Police Office, Jamunaha, 146 cargo vehicles, 19 diesel tankers, five petrol tankers, three ATF tankers and two gas bullets entered Nepal from 6:30 am till 1 pm this afternoon.

The SSB had been disallowing vehicles to enter Nepal since one week citing sit-in by Madhesi Front and local election.

According to police, some 400 cargo vehicles including over 60 fuel tankers were stranded at the border point due to obstruction by SSB.

Nepali security personnel believe the SSB has received order from higher authority to let cargo vehicles enter Nepal.
