Shanti Lama wins bronze in Indonesia

KATHMANDU, Nov 30: Shanti Lama bagged bronze medal in the Sixth Asian Pacific Goju-kai Karate Do Championship being held in Jakarta, Indonesia. Shanti claimed the medal in the women's U-55kg kumite event, according to Nepal Goju-kai Karate Do Association.

Shanti got defeated in the semifinal by an Iranian opponent. Players from 27 countries are taking part in the championship scheduled between November 25 and December 1.
