The event brought together senior representatives of the Nepal Rastra Bank, all major banks and financial institutions in the region, DFID Nepal, local government authorities and members of the private sector bodies, it added.
“The office will be a fully functioning station which will liaise between Sakchyam's Kathmandu office and partner institutions working in the region, to ensure essential support and guidance in implementing its innovative partnerships,” reads the statement. Speaking on the occasion, Governor Nepal praised Sakchyam for achieving success in its transformative partnerships with banks and financial institutions within short span of time, the statement added.
