Ruling coalition suggests appointing acting Chief Justice

KATHMANDU, Dec 2: A meeting of the top leaders of the ruling coalition has suggested to Chief Justice Cholendra SJB Rana to stay on leave and appoint an acting Chief Justice.

A meeting of the top leaders of the five parties held at the Prime Minister's Residence in Baluwatar on Thursday morning suggested to immediately appoint a caretaker chief justice as the court has been obstructed for a long time and the chief justice has fallen ill and is currently admitted to a hospital.
