BANKE, March 6: Khagendra Sunar, a candidate of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has taken a wide lead in the vote count in Banke Constituency-3.
According to the latest results, Sunar has surged ahead of candidates from the CPN-UML and the Nepali Congress (NC) by a significant margin.

Sunar has secured 1,363 votes so far. His closest rival, Suman Malla of UML, has received 596 votes, putting Sunar ahead by 767 votes.
Meanwhile, Amar Singh Pun of the NC stands in third place with 402 votes. The candidate contesting under the ‘plough’ election symbol has received 72 votes, while Deepak GM (star) has secured 48 votes. The ‘soil’ symbol has received 8 votes.
