RPPN to 'Gherao' CIAA; Chairman Thapa says political parties' silence mysterious

The fourth largest party in the CIAA, Rashtriya Prajatantra Party- Nepal (RPP-N) is all set to march to the office of Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) and stage a 'Gherao' in protest of the prevalant 'Mafiaization' of the medical sector in Nepal on Friday.

At 1:00 pm today, the student wing of the party will conduct the gherao program along with registering a formal application/complaint afore the commission to conduct a thorough investigation into the current mafiaization prevelant in medical education sector. 



Talking to myrepublica RPPN chair Kamal Thapa said, "At this juncture, when there there has literally been an 'expośe' of ill-practices and Mafiasiation in the medical sector, it is mysterious how the poltical leadership, CIAA and concerned authorities have kept mum on the issue."

"I fail to understand their silence over the matter", he told myrepublica.


"Media's, especially the dailies should not hold bias and give space to genuine matters", Thapa added.


On Thursday, a joint meeting of the members of party central committee and the parliamentary party had made an announcement to hold protests against the prevalent misappropriation and unsytematic practices in the medical sector.
