PARSA, April 9: Coordinator of the Tarai Madhes National Campaign, Jay Prakash Prasad Gupta, has said that justification of the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) has now ended.

At a news conference organised by the Madhesi Journalists´ Society, Parsa, here Tuesday, Gupta said that UDMF, formed just for grabbing power, has no justification and meaning now.

Stating that he is also a founder member of the UDMF, Gupta expressed the view that they should move ahead in a new way as UDMF has already been dissolved.

Claiming that there was no situation of holding election in the country for the time being, Gupta stressed that the incumbent government should be allowed to work.

Stressing that the mechanism of four political powers should be dissolved immediately, he said the government would not be free and cannot hold free election to the Constituent Assembly (CA) until the mechanism exists.
