KATHMANDU, Dec 30: President Ram Chandra Poudel has expressed grief over the demise of former US President Jimmy Carter.
President Poudel paid tribute to Carter and expressed his condolences to the family and the American people.
President Paudel mentioned that work done by Jimmy Carter in the fields of peace, human rights and philanthropy has been inspirational for the world.
Carter, the 39th president of the US, died on Sunday at the age of 100.
