KARNALI, Feb 27: Nepali Congress (NC) President Gagan Kumar Thapa has said his party would work in a way that the country realizes golden days in the coming five years.
In his address to a province-level election publicity programme in Surkhet on Thursday, President Thapa urged one and all to vote for the NC in the March 5 House of Representatives election and give the NC a chance to make a golden Nepal in five years. "In the past, it took a huge cost to the nation with frequent changes of government. It resulted in youth disenchantment. The politics of coalition was another irritant," he reminded.
He, however, said there are constraints. Correction of past mistakes is awaited. According to President Thapa, his party was ready to talk to other parties on charting a golden future for the country. A plan for development would be prepared in a collective manner, he added.
