New laptops debut at CAN Info Tech with special offers and discounts

KATHMANDU, Feb 7: If you are planning to buy a laptop, the Midas CAN Info-Tech 2013 at Bhrikuti Mandap is the place to check with different dealers introducing new laptops and providing special offers.



Besides, various companies are also providing exchange offers so that customers can change their old laptops for new ones.[break]



Companies like Generation Next, Explore Asia Pacific, Nagmani International, eZone Electronics, Megatech, Ocean Computers, and Sagar Distribution, among others, are providing special discounts to customers buying laptops at the Info-Tech.



Generation Next – the authorized dealer of Dell products for Nepal -- has launched Windows 8 laptops from Dell.



"We are offering the Windows 8 operating system free with Dell laptops. In addition to that, customers buying Dell laptops will also get a one year insurance facility and two years’ warranty," said Nikita Bhimsaria, spokesperson for the company.



The company is also providing exchange offers for those who want to replace their old laptops with new Dell laptops.



Ocean Computers -- the authorized distributor of MSI in Nepal has introduced four new laptops -- MSI S30 ultrabook, GE 60 in the gaming series and CX61 and CX 41 in the graphic series at the Info-Tech. Along with special discounts, Ocean Computers is also offering free accessories.



Explore Digital – the retail store for Explore Asia Pacific -- has introduced latest laptops of a variety of brands with Intel’s i3, i5 and i7 processors.



"With the purchase of different brands of laptops like Dell, HP, Acer and Sony, customers will get goodies such as extra power adaptors, laptop bags, internet security software, and keyboard skin worth Rs 5,000 for free. Besides, we will be providing a year’s insurance that covers breakage and theft of the laptops," said Ajay Sadewra, the director of Explore Asia Pacific.



Nagmani International – the sole authorized distributor of Asus for Nepal -- has introduced Asus ultrabook UX32A and Asus TF300TG, an Nvidia Tegra 3G tablet.



"We are providing discounts between Rs 2,000 and Rs 3,000 on laptops. In addition, we provide two year international warrantees on our laptops," said Super Shrestha, the product manager of the company.



Sagar Distribution – the authorized dealer of Hasee laptops -- is providing 20 percent discounts on Hasee laptops. Hasee laptops are available in the range of Rs 27,000 to Rs 43,000.



eZone Electronics – the authorized distributor of HP and Sony laptops -- is providing free accessories on the purchase of laptops.



"We are providing goods worth Rs 5,000 for free with HP and Sony laptops," said Pratik Bagaria, the director of the company.



Megatech – the authorized distributor of Lenovo -- has introduced Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga, Lenovo IdeaPad Ultra Book and Lenovo IdeaPad Tablet A2107 at the event.



"We are providing 10 percent discounts on Lenovo laptops. Customers will also get a laptop bag and anti-virus software free," said Suresh Lohani, the managing director of the company. Customers can also exchange their old laptops with new Lenovo laptops at the event.
