MetLife launches 'policy reinstatement'

KATHMANDU, Sept 25: MetLife Nepal has announced the launch of its "Policy Reinstatement" campaign. Issuing a statement, MetLife Nepal said that it was providing waiver on the late fee charged for overdue premium to its policyholders whose policies have been lapsed.



"During this campaign period, policyholders with lapsed policies can get their policies reinstated and have continued insurance protection," reads the statement.

The company is also offering 100 percent waiver of late fee to policies lapsed for five years or less.


"For policies lapsed more than five years, 50 percent waiver on late fee has been offered," the statement said, adding, "Policy reinstatement is being offered on 3Payment Plan, Endowment Plan, Education Protection Plan, Subhabishya Beema- Aajiwan Aaya, and Educare."
