Owned by Dhokaima Café’s Manoj Basnet, it has the perfect ambience for all types of restaurant goers and a wide variety of cuisines to choose from. Manoj has help in the form of Kirti Raj who is also his partner at Dhokaima.[break]
Every little detail had been taken care of, which was impressive.
From ample parking space to 24-hour power backup, this place has it all. Manny’s Eatery and Tapas Bar is a world in itself with a tapas (meaning snacks in Spanish) bar, a dining area, coffee lounge, and the lawn.
The Tapas Bar, with its loud music and singing area, is meant for young crowds.

The dining area gives you a sense of tranquility with soft Jazz music playing in the background. You can relax and read a book in the coffee lounge.
The lawn, with its fish pond, is a nature lover’s paradise. This is where Manoj plans to put up Charlie Chaplin comedies for the guests to enjoy.
Much care has gone into making each zone a private space. The noise from the bar doesn’t disturb one’s dining experience.
The lawn has a separate entry and bathrooms and exit, so you can host a private party without being bothered by what is happening in the other areas.
The staffs are excellent – prompt, cheerful and ever ready to help. The Chef makes sure the food is served to perfection.
The owner takes pride in running this place and has spent a lot of waking hours working on it.
You can see it in the way his face lights up when he speaks about it and hear it in the cadence of his voice.

The food is scrumptious. It is unlike anything you have ever tasted – that I guarantee.
The roasted vegetable soup is light but filling and you can have it chilled in the summer.
The Som Tam is something I am personally going to recommend to everybody I meet. It is green papaya salad made to look interesting with carrots.
The carrots are also there for the color. I loved it and I’m someone who hates papaya, so you can very well guess how good it was.
The tequila-marinated chicken was to live for. The softness and the juiciness of the chicken still linger on my taste buds.
Manny’s Eatery and Tapas Bar is now open to all from 11am to 10:30pm. It is a place you can go to just hang out, have coffee, read a book, look at the fishes swimming in the pond while enjoying a drink, or have dinner with your family. It’s got everything under one roof.
